Indian cuisine: Aloo jeera

Aloo jeera is one of the most simple and famous indian food.
It is very easy to cook but it's very delicious!
In Hindi, Aloo means potato and Jeera means cumin.

Cumin seeds contain a relatively large amount of iron.
South asian people believe that cumin seeds have a potential of helping digestion, but there are no scientific evidences.

Today I had Aloo jeera with white rice, but you can eat it with brown rice or chapati too.

Ital stew

This is a very simple but delicious ital menu, Ital stew and brown rice(with sesame).

Mi didn't add salt, but it tastes irie!

Ital foods (Rastafarians' diet)
I and I's beliefs is the sharing of a central Livity among living things, and what is put into one's body should enhance Livity rather than reduce it. So I and I's diets should be natural, or pure, and from the earth. I and I therefore must avoid food which is chemically modified or contains artificial additives, and also avoid the foods added salt with the artificial addition of iodine.

Japanese traditional food : Hijiki Rice

My first menu is Japanese Traditional Hijiki seaweed cuisine.

1. Hijiki Rice
2. Cabbage Asazuke (Shallow pickles)
3. Pickled Ume Fruits
4. Simmered Hijiki
5. Miso Soup

Hijiki seaweed is a very popular diet in Japan. It is known to be rich in dietary fiber and minerals, such as Ca, Mg and Fe. Dietary fiber is good for the intestine and Fe helps to prevent anemia. Hijiki has a good balance of Mg and Ca. But some governments say to avoid consumption of hijiki because it contents higher level of Inorganic arsenic than other seaweed. But Japanese government reported the average hijiki consumption of Japanese people doesn't exceed the tolerable daily intake level.
